Imperial Lanes is an Extended Play Record made by The Pneumatic Girls in 2013 and released in 2014. Performers in the band included Jack Alberson, Angela Horton, Eric Wilson and Matthew Trisler. Jason Pulley helped by playing organ on "Fall" and also by singing on "Close To Me". This EP was recorded in October and November of 2013 by Harry Koniditsiotis at Five and Dime in Memphis, TN. It was mastered by Carl Saff. Packaging was designed by Matthew Trisler. Jack Alberson wrote all the songs, but he brought them to the Pneumatic Girls for arrangement.

Track Name: (If I Held You) Close To Me
Up in the air, all is uncertain
Is this the final curtain
Calling us to ascend?
Like wishes taking flight, you caught my eye
At the strangest of times
Calling me to mend.

My pockets full of hopes, full of stars
Like lights from moving cars
Would you mind if I held you
close to me?

Down in my heart, the pulse is faint
I’m neither hero nor saint
I broke when I should’ve bent
Our feet, stabilizing, touching down
Side by side without a sound
Is this what you meant?
